[Good morning denizens of Luceti! The Emperor of Malkuth has a wondrous announcement for you all today. Can't you tell by just how bright his face is?]

Yo! So, it's finally White Day of which I've been hearing of-- the day to be returning gifts threefold to the lovely ladies who gave you a gift on this day one month earlier from what I hear! However, as I've only heard of St. Valentines Day not to long ago, I can't say there is anyone to give back to. Per se.

And that's exactly why I've decided just now that I'll give a small gift to the community instead! Not right away, of course, but in the future I would like to hold a tournament for the restless warrior souls and unfortunately bored seekers of entertainment. Any thoughts, opinions, opening acts [he stops to chuckle as that one is possibly a joke, possibly not] or volunteers to help out!?

House One - Action;
[At some point through out the day, the girls of house one will hear a knock on their bedroom door and upon opening it will be presented with a small wrapped box. Inside the box is four separated chocolates, but included with Nephry's is a summer scarf. Although if they are not there at the time, they will come back find the box inside a pouch hanging on the knobs of their doors.

The guys won't get anything, except for maybe when Peony knocks on Jade's door to give him the curry he promised him way back when or on Guy's door to hand over his cute rappig for a walk, but besides that, well, the household is free to comment when they see what Peony's up to today.]

[After both hearing the message and finding curry at his door, he strolls down to the kitchen while casually eating from the bowl of curry, seeking out Peony. And when he finds him, he addresses him with a mock-lamenting tone.]

Ah, I feared this day would come. The emperor has finally reached the peak of his boredom, and now we must all battle for his favor. I'm surprised this hasn't happened sooner, to be honest.

[Peony's chilled out on the couch when Jade finds him and is not about to get up anytime soon, so all that he does to greet his friend is crack an eye open and crane his neck back only enough so to catch sight of him.]

You're right. It should have happened sooner, but I was hoping so wistfully that my favor wouldn't be as wasted away as it was. Anyhow, the only thing left to do now is to find something new to place it in. You volunteering to help a best friend out?

What kind of tournament?

[Fighting is apparent enough for the call of "restless warrior souls", but fighters can cover a lot of ground too.]

Well, swordsmanship and martial arts come to mind, but I would be foolish to limit it with just that. What were you thinking?

[Swordfighting and martial arts covers a good portion of the village and would be exciting to watch.]

Maybe something for all the archers and gunslingers?

A tournament, hmm?

[ Sounds like this could be fun. It would also give him a rather good look at the sort of fighting power that's in Luceti. ]

What are you envisioning?

Sure, why not! There can be open sign ups to see what other skills are hiding in the village and a compilation of the ones large enough to categorize later on. How's that sound?

[Of course some would be so unique to a person that not all could be made into a category, but he could be surprised. For instance, archery was common in his world, but gunslingers were more rare as the fon-tech was controlled by the Order so hearing about it like is was more widespread influenced his response.]

Truthfully, I'm envisioning it more as one-day Colosseum event with multiple other categories than just swordsmanship and marital arts. Something on a grand scale that hopefully everybody can get into, whether they're competing or watching~

[He'll pause for a second to make it seem like he's finished speaking so that his answer can sink in, but then casually add a subtle hint-]

However, it's going to take a lot more than my effort to accomplish this vision.

A tournament?

[Karla's instantly pinged. Once again, while she dislikes battle, she can't resist it. This could be an opportunity, though. If there's even a small chance that her brother was here somewhere, this tournament would get his attention as well. There were new people arriving on a regular basis, so surely her brother has to show up, right?

Perhaps I'd like to participate.

Mm, I see. When you say "martial arts", do you only mean hand-to-hand combat, or are you talking about mixed combat, using special... magical powers as well?

So we finally meet. My first interested participant~ [His tone is light, trust me he's not being demeaning or sexist. It's just really refreshing to see a woman as his first sign up.]

So what's your area of expertise?

[That's a surprise indeed. She was sure that men would be jumping into it. Oh well.]

My skill is with the sword.

As far as volunteers go, what are you looking for? People to help set up and tear down? Judges or referees?

All of the above. Especially some helpful sets of eyes and minds to organize registration.

Indeed, fancy that. You're the first swordswomen I've meet in a long while too.

Really? There weren't many women in my world who could use a sword either. In fact, women were forbidden from using weapons.

Well, that's a list that could take all day, but to name a few things to start with: volunteers to organize registration, spread awareness, set up/tear down, judge, etc.

I may be able to help out with registration.

[Though she wasn't primarily responsible for paperwork in her unit, she's familiar enough. Plus, her penmanship is second to none!]

I don't mind lending a hand with organizing and set up.

When were you thinking about having the tournament?

You don't say. Well, I would be happy to have the help-- ah, no, let me rephrase: I would appreciate the help from such a reliable young lady like yourself.

May, maybe? Is that the month after next? Anyway, with something this big, we'd need about six or seven weeks. In case there are any bumps in the road.

Well, no one is judging you here, I hope. Though, if anything, the choice of why many women couldn't use the sword should have been solely because they choose not to, as the case was where I'm from. The freedom to choose is undoubtedly important, I believe.
